Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef tips
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 can (10.75 oz) cream of onion soup
  • 1 can (10.75 oz) golden mushroom soup
  • 8 oz fresh sliced mushrooms
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 (8 oz) container sour cream
  • 1 (16 oz) package egg noodles, cooked

Instructions

  • In a 6 quart slow cooker, combine beef tips, onion, soups, mushrooms and pepper. Cover, and cook on high for 8 hours or until beef is tender.
  • Stir in cream cheese & sour cream.
  • Serve immediately over cooked egg noodles.

Notes

I highly recommend high quality meat! We use tri-tip or sirloin. With slow cooking it – it will be extra tender & fall apart delicious! Because the stroganoff flavor is so strong, pairing it with simple grains or starches will make a big difference so they flavors won’t compete. We use egg noodles but you could also use rice or potato (mashed, baked).
