Ingredients
- 1/4 c butter
- 1 – 0.7 oz package Italian salad dressing mix
- 1 – 10.75 oz cans golden mushroom soup
- 1 – 8oz container cream cheese with chive and onion
- 1 c dry white wine
- 4–6 boneless skinless chicken breasts
Serve with pasta or rice and garnish with chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add dressing mix, stirring to combine.
- In a 6 quart crock pot, add your soup, cream cheese, wine and butter mixture; cook, stirring constantly, until cream cheese is melted and smooth.
- Add in your chicken breasts.
- Cook on low for 4-6 hours, or until chicken is tender.
- If you want shredded chicken – take out the breasts and shred. Add back into mixture.
- Serve over pasta, rice, potato – or whatever you’d like. Garnish with parley, if desired.
