  • long bowl of water to soak skewers in

Instructions

  • Preheat your air fryer to 400F.
  • In a bowl make your bang bang sauce by combining all of the ingredients listed under the bang bang sauce and mix together until well combined.  Pour half of the sauce in a separate bowl and set a to use after the chicken has been cooked.  Use the rest of the sauce to coat the chicken evenly.
  • In a medium bowl, season the chicken cubes with the list of ingredients for the chicken marinade and stir to coat evenly.  let the chicken marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  • After marinating, thread the chicken pieces onto skewers.  If using wooden skewers make sure they have soaked them in water for at least 30 minutes to prevent them from burning.  Then brush the chicken with bang bang sauce.
  • Spray the basket of the air fryer with olive spray and add the skewers to the basket of the air frier in a single layer.  Depending on how many skewers you have you may have to work in batches.
  • Air fry at 400F for 13-15 minutes, or until golden and crispy flipping halfway.  the chicken should be fully cooked when it reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees F.
  • Transfer the skewers to a plate and drizzle or brush the chicken with the reserved bang bang sauce and and serve immediately.
