- Prep Time: 15 minutes + freeze time
- Cook Time: 0 minutes
- Total Time: 15 minutes
- Yield: 2 servings 1x
- Category: Drinks
Ingredients
- 3 ripe bananas, peeled, sliced, and frozen
- 3 Tbsp coconut milk
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1–2 Tbsp honey
- 3/4 cup chopped frozen strawberries (add more if desired)
- 1/2 cup chopped frozen pineapple (add more if desired)
- 1/2 cup chopped chocolate (dairy-free, milk or dark)
- chopped nuts, whipped cream & cherry to top (optional)
Instructions
- Blend Bananas: Place the frozen banana slices into a food processor or high-speed blender. Pulse or blend until completely creamy, scraping down the sides as needed. This may take a few minutes.
- Adjust Consistency (If Needed): If the mixture is too thick to blend smoothly, add 1-2 tablespoons of coconut milk. Be careful not to add too much, as the goal is a creamy, not liquid, texture.
- Add Mix-Ins: Once the bananas are smooth and creamy, add the frozen strawberries, frozen pineapple, and chopped chocolate pieces. Gently mix these in with a spatula – do not blend them.
- Serve Immediately: For the best soft-serve consistency, serve your Banana Split Blizzard immediately. If you transfer it to a container and freeze it, the consistency will firm up, and you’ll need to re-blend it to regain that soft-serve texture.
