  • 1 1/2 cup water, more as needed
  • 1 1/2 cup granulated sugar

Instructions

Part 1: Make the Syrup

  1. In a small saucepan, combine the water, sugar, pumpkin puree, and pumpkin pie spice.

  2. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring constantly until the sugar is dissolved and the mixture is smooth.

  3. Once boiling, remove the saucepan from the heat, cover it, and let it sit for 15 minutes.


Part 2: Strain & Store

    1. Strain the pumpkin mixture into an airtight container to remove any solids.

    2. Let the syrup cool completely to room temperature.

    3. Store the finished syrup in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
