Ingredients
- 1 cup cold butter, cut into pieces
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs

- 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/4 cups cake flour (this is easy to make yourself if you don’t have any)
- 1/2 cup dark or Dutch-process unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 to 2 cups semisweet or bittersweet chocolate chips or chunks
- Note on Cake Flour: If you don’t have cake flour, you can make your own by removing 2 tablespoons of all-purpose flour from the 2 1/2 cups and replacing it with 2 tablespoons of cornstarch.
Instructions
- Preheat and Prep: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line your baking sheets with parchment paper and set aside.
