Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 c popcorn kernels
  • 23 Tbsp oil (we used avocado oil)
  • 2 tsp dried dill weed
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp dried mustard powder
  • 2 tsp nutritional yeast* (If you don’t have this – substitute with 1 tsp coriander)
  • 1/21 tsp salt (adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 23 Tbsp pickle juice (added to a spray bottle)
  • I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter – Spray (to taste)

Instructions

  • Pop your popcorn with a popcorn maker. You can also use an air popcorn maker and omit the oil.
  • While the popcorn is popping, mix the dill weed, garlic powder, onion powder, mustard powder, nutritional yeast (or coriander), salt and pepper in a small bowl.
  • Once your popcorn is done – add it to a large bowl.
  • Add the pickle juice to a spray bottle & lightly mist the popcorn. Don’t overdo it because it will make the popcorn soggy. (You can also omit this step and mist with oil or butter spray.)
  • Sprinkle the dill mixture over the popcorn and toss gently, coating it evenly with the seasoning. Be sure to taste test as you go & adjust as needed. We found we liked the added flavor of “I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter” (spray) as well as the pickle juice.
