Ingredients

Garlic Butter

  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 2 Tbsp parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 Tbsp minced garlic
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp salt, or to taste
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp dried oregano

For Assembly

  • 1 lb pizza dough
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 8 oz pepperoni
  • Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Make Garlic Butter: In a small bowl, combine butter, parsley, garlic, Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper, and oregano. Set aside.

  2. Prepare Dough:

    • Divide the dough into equal pieces, about the size of a ping pong ball or slightly smaller.
    • Brush each cup of a cupcake tin with garlic butter.
    • Place a dough ball in each buttered cup.
    • Cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled in size.
  3. Preheat Oven: Preheat oven to 350°F.

  4. Shape and Fill: Gently punch down the center of each dough ball and press the edges up to form a cup shape. Brush the inside of each cup with more garlic butter.

    • Add marinara sauce, mozzarella cheese, two pieces of pepperoni, more marinara sauce, and one more piece of pepperoni to each cup.
    • Top with additional mozzarella cheese and sprinkle with Italian seasoning.
  5. Bake: Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbly.

  6. Serve: Remove from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes before serving with ranch dressing.

  • Add whatever “toppings” you enjoy in your pizza in place or in addition to pepperoni.
