Imagine the perfect balance of sweet and salty: crunchy Fritos corn chips nestled in a rich, gooey, buttery base, often enhanced with peanut butter, and then topped with a luscious chocolate layer. It’s an unexpected combination that just works. Every bite delivers that satisfying crunch, a hint of salt, and pure, decadent sweetness. These bars are incredibly easy to make, a total crowd-pleaser, and will disappear faster than you can say “Frito!”

Ingredients

  • 19.25 oz bag of Fritos
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup corn syrup

Instructions

  • Prepare Dish: Spray a 9×13 inch baking dish generously with cooking spray.
  • Layer Fritos: Evenly spread the Fritos corn chips into the prepared baking dish.
  • Make Syrup Mixture: In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the peanut butter, sugar, and corn syrup. Stir continuously until all ingredients are fully combined and melted into a smooth mixture.
  • Combine & Chill: Carefully pour the warm peanut butter mixture evenly over the Fritos in the baking dish.
  • Set & Serve: Refrigerate the dish until the bars are completely set. Once firm, cut them into squares and enjoy!
