- Total Time: 1 hour (cool time)
- Yield: 8–10 servings 1x
- Category: Drinks
Ingredients
- 2 gallon pitcher
- 10 fresh yellow peaches
- sugar to your liking (I used 1/2 cup)
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
- 1/2 can of evaporated milk
- pinch of salt
- 1/2 tsp almond extract
Instructions
-
Part 1: Make the Peach Base
-
Prep the Peaches: Cut your peaches into quarters and remove the pits. Set aside any extra peach chunks you want to add to the final drink.
-
Simmer the Peaches: In a large skillet or pot, combine the peach quarters with sugar and a splash of water. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 5-10 minutes, or until the peaches are very soft.
-
Blend the Base: Carefully transfer the cooked peach mixture to a blender. Add your sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, almond extract & pinch of salt. Blend until a smooth purée forms. Pour the purée into a pitcher and place it in the refrigerator to cool completely.
Part 2: Assemble the Drink
-
Add Water: To the cooled peach purée in the pitcher, add 1-2 cups of cold water, stirring to reach your desired consistency.
-
Create the Drink: To a serving glass, add ice and the reserved peach chunks. Pour the peach purée mixture over the ice.
-
Add the Cream: Top with a splash of cream or milk, stir gently, and serve.
